I spend a lot of time thinking about food and food-related issues. This interest yielded a dissertation on food and identity in the ancient Roman world, which earned me a PhD in Classics from Florida State University in 2016. I am now embarking upon a new quest to understand and evaluate our modern food system. In short, my mission is to help save the world, and I’m looking for some good meals along the way.
